Kasha and Alex Rose both have something very big in common; They want to STOP violence on our streets. On the 25th of March these two people alongside a huge gathering of celebrities, professionals and victims will rally together to form the most positive event the world has ever seen.

Solve This Ongoing Problem

The Start, Think ‘n’ STOP event will launch the Education is the Key initiative, led by 20-year-old graphic design student and campaigner Alex Rose’s STOP (Solve This Ongoing Problem) group.

Jack Morton says that it, as well as everyone else involved in the event, has offered its services for free.

The event will be hosted by Choice FM DJ Richard Blackwood and feature performances from urban artists including Kasha and Mr Midas.

Rose has created a symbolic key design, made from melted-down weapons that have been handed in or seized by the police, which can be worn in support of the campaign.

Rose says, ‘Friends and family members have died because of gun and knife crime. I want young people to stop carrying weapons and think about what else is out there, apart from joining a gang.

‘Start, Think ‘n’ STOP is about inspiring others to do something positive - everyone has a talent they can use and the event is a celebration of that and a chance for us to start saving lives now.’

Julian Pullan, EVP managing director, EMEA at Jack Morton Wordwide, says, ‘Seeing Alex’s passion, commitment and ability to make a genuine difference at such a young age is truly inspiring.

‘We believe this campaign is vital and are delighted that so many of our partners and suppliers agree.’

Channel 4 will be filming the event for a forthcoming programme on the STOP campaign, part of the Battlefront series.
